On this page, you can preview the concept programme of the Kick-In. This means that some changes in the programme can still occur. Kies-Op-Maat students, Exchange students and Pre-Master students will participate in the Master Kick-In.

4:30 PM - 6:00 PM	Registration Finalise your registration! Here you will receive your participant bag and wristband.
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM	Central Opening The chair of the Kick-In Committee, the Board of the Student Union and the Rector Magnificus from of the University of Twente will welcome all students to the University of Twente.
6:30 PM - 7:00 PM	Group Picture We will take a picture with all participants of the Kick-In!
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM	Welcome Games Games will be provided to get to know your peers during dinner!
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM	Frosty's Pokebowl Party A great opportunity to get to know your peers over a lovely dinner!
9:00 PM - 1:00 AM	Opening Party Start the Kick-In with an amazing party!

1:30 PM - 6:00 PM	Campus Tours A tour of the campus to get to know the place you will be studying at.
2:00 PM - 5:30 PM	Sport Workshops Try out different sports, and find your favorite!
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM	Dutch Dinner Enjoy some real authentic Dutch dinner
8:00 PM - 10:00 PM	Pubquiz Become the all-knowing of this group during this Pubquiz!

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM	International Onboarding Market Are you a new international student? Join us at the International Onboarding Market at the Technohal Atrium to find out about all the things you need to arrange when you arrive in Enschede. But don't worry, there are many facilities, services, and student associations to support you at UT. At the International Onboarding Market you can meet representatives from the UT and external organisations and ask questions about formalities, visa, housing, bank accounts, insurance, public transport, medical services, language courses, and support services. Ice Skating

Experience a typical Dutch activity, Ice Skating! The first hour you will get an Ice Skating lesson from the Student Ice Skating Association: D.S.V. de Skeuvel. After this lesson you have 1.5 hour to practice this new skill on the rink. For this activity a small fee is required of €12,30- or €6,80- if you bring your own ice skates.

Programme information

The Winter Kick-In is intended for all (pre-)master and exchange students starting their studies in February. During this week you will get to know your fellow students and the possibilities of studying in Enschede. Beside this, you will join a lot of fun activities!
