9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Bike Market
Do you still need a bike for during and after the Kick-In? Then come score a bike at the bike market.
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Meet your Peers Lounge
Get to know your fellow students while playing some fun relaxing games! Don't forget to bring sports clothing!
9:00 AM - 11:30 AM Master Registration
The registration is the start of the Kick-In! Here, you will receive your goodie bag and participant wristband which gives you access to the activities of the Kick-In.
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Master Grand Opening
At Grand Opening, you will be welcomed to University of Twente by the Kick-In Committee, the Student Union, and the Rector Magnificus. In addition, an opening show will be performed! We will kick off this fantastic period together!
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Subway Lunch
2:30 PM - 5:00 PM Rabobank Sport Games (Msc)
Try out every sport at the sport games! All sport associations have a game ready to give you the best impression of their association. Use our webapplication (https://sports.kick-in.nl/) and win some nice prizes!
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Cooling Down
Relax after an energetic sports day by chilling out with your do-group. We will provide refreshing drinks, chill music, and some games! Also get to know a typical studentsport: Klonkieball!
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Eazie Eat & Greet
Close off the afternoon at your favorite association and enjoy some food whilst talking to some of the members of the association. [Ticket]
8:00 PM - 2:00 AM Sports party

Enjoy typical dutch brunch while you can play different type of dutch games!

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Culture Workshops
Dancing, singing, playing an instrument, or doing something else? Get to know the culture associations by participating in their workshops! You can sign up for the workshops beforehand by buying a free ticket or sign up during the Culture Festival for some leftover spots. You only need 1 ticket for your whole group.

There are many different cultural associations that would like to introduce themselves to you. Eat a delicious pizza for dinner while you enjoy their performances! [TICKET]

Have fun during the RGB Silent Disco. You'll receive a headphone from us with which you can switch between the music you enjoy most!

An informative marketplace to help new international students arrange practical matters. You can find out about arranging formalities, insurance, bank accounts, public transport, medical services, language courses and support services. 7:30 PM - 1:00 AM Introduction Concert
It is time to enjoy a massive concert at the Oude Markt, at the heart of Enschede’s city center! The awesome performances will start at 19:30.

5:00 PM - 8:00 PM More Than A Degree Foodtruck Festival
Enjoy all kinds of different meals, while getting to know More Than A Degree at UT! Exchange your ticket for coins to get food at the foodtrucks. Without a ticket, you can pay by card. [Ticket]
8:00 PM - 2:00 AM Kick-Out Party
After a Kick-In programme full of activities dedicated to get to know the university, the campus, the city and your fellow students, it is time for the final party! There will be a Closing Show and an epic Light Show created by the Technical crew.
11:30 PM - 11:45 PM Closing Show
The Kick-In will be wrapped up with an epic Closing Show!
1:45 AM - 2:00 AM Light Show
An amazing lightshow made by our Technical crew, the moment to close your Kick-In with your friends!

Programme information

During the general programme you'll get to know your fellow students, the campus, the city centre of Enschede, and all the various associations at our university. The programme consists of many activities to introduce you to the student life of Enschede! The general programme takes place between Saturday the 22nd of August 2026 until Monday the 24th of August 2026 and in the afternoon of the 26th of August 2026. The gap is filled by the faculty-related programme organised by your study association and your study programme!
